PVC: Polyvinyl chloride is the plastic resin used to
manufacture our vinyl railing. VinylRailDepot uses 100% virgin vinyl
in our products.
RAIL: A decorative horizontal section that is placed
between posts and used for support and safety.
SLOPE RAIL: The rail section made to attach to stair
areas.
EXTRUSION: The process from which quality PVC components are made. A mono extrusion process keeps the titanium dioxide & impact inhibitors running all the way through the entire product. Co-Extruded and Tri-Extruded products only have a very thin layer of vinyl with titanium dioxide on the outside. If the outside layer is scratched through, then these products will discolor. The Royal Rail top rail and the Best Rail Top Rail are mono-extruded, therefore, these products will not yellow or discolor even if they get scratched. |
