Here at Vinyl Rail Depot we have engineered this vinyl railing and aluminum railing system to meet or surpass all BOCA, IBC, and IRC building code requirements. You should check the interpretation of your local building inspection department on which Vinyl Rail Depot options best suit your locality.

Return Policy

Vinyl Rail Depot will accept any item we have sold as a return for full credit less shipping costs within 30 days of the customer receiving the product. The return process to follow is outlined by the steps below:

1.) The customer must email Vinyl Rail Depot for an authorization to return. This way, Vinyl Rail Depot can be prepared to expect your return. Email: customerservice@vinylraildepot.com   
2.) The product must be returned in its original condition and in its original box.
3.) The customer is responsible for the shipping and the safe and undamaged return of all items, so we recommed that you insure your return.
4.) Upon receipt, the customer's returned items will be inspected to ensure that all parts received are in saleable condition.
5.) Any damaged or missing pieces will be deducted from the refund.
6.) The refund will be made only on the price of the merchandise plus any applicable sales tax.(Does not include shipping costs.)
7.) Credit card refunds will be credited back to your account upon completion of merchandise inspection.

Shipping Policy

1.) All items purchased will be shipped within 5 business days of a confirmed order under most situations. Orders will be shipped standard ground.
2.) Shipments west of the Mississippi will require a freight surcharge. Please email or call for exact quote.
3.) Large shipments of railing will arrive by common carrier. The driver for these truck lines is only required to get the load to the tailgate. Some may assist in unloading, most will not. All the rail kits are boxed for their protection but may be strapped to a pallet, which may be too heavy to unload by hand. In this case, you may wish to open the pallet and unload the boxes separately. Unloading is the responsibility of the purchaser.
4.) Most common carriers will stop at the residential curb and not enter a lane or long drive. Unloading at the common carrier’s stop point is the responsibility of the purchaser.
5.) Small shipments with short boxes usually arrive by UPS. Because these are smaller and lighter boxes, these shipments are usually unloaded by UPS from their truck.

Limited Lifetime Warranty on White Vinyl Rail

VinylRailDepot.com backs their vinyl railing system with a Limited Lifetime Warranty to be free from defective workmanship and materials. When subject to normal and proper use, it is  further warranted against surface peeling, rot, ground insects, splitting, corrosion, flaking, rusting, and blistering, abnormal weathering or abnormal discoloration under normal use and service. Tan has a 20 year warranty.

VinylRailDepot.com backs their aluminum railing system to be free from defective workmanship and materials when subject to normal and proper use. It is further warrented against cracks, peeling, blister, flake, rust, nor subject to abnormal weather per AAMA2604 specifications.

These warranties are not transferable. These warranties do not cover the cost of installation of any defective product or the cost of installation of any replacement product furnished under the terms of the warranty.
