STEP-1
Fasten post mount to wood flooring using (4) 5/16 inch x 4 inch
lag bolts. If only 2 lag bolts hit a joist, then anchor the
remaining 2 fasteners with 1/4 inch carriage bolts. (Note: If
mounting to concrete, then use concrete anchors in place of
5/16 inch x 4 inch lag bolts. Concrete anchors not included)
STEP-2
Place PVC cement in post cavity. Slide post into post mount and
fasten using (8) #12 x 1 1/2 inch Stainless Steel self-tapping
screws or (pre-drill starter holes into the mount, if you are not
using self tapping screws).
STEP-3
Slide New England skirt into place. The skirt will hide the
screws used to fasten post to the Tek-Mount.
NOTE: Do not use center hole as single source of attachment.

Stainless Steel screws and (4) 5/16 inch x 4 inch lag bolts.
